The Hessequa Local Municipality is inviting applications for its bursary programme for the 2025 academic year aimed at students residing in the Hessequa Municipal area in the Western Cape, South Africa. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must reside within the Hessequa Municipal area in the Western Cape province
- Must be between 18 and 23 years old
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be studying or intend on studying towards one of the qualifications listed
- Must be registered to study at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Must have a strong academic record
- Must NOT be receiving another bursary or NSFAS funding
- Must have a desire to uplift and change the community
- Must be in financial need
- Students with disabilities and from historically disadvantaged groups are encouraged to apply

- Proof of residential address (recent municipal account)
- Proof of income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed)
