Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a South African citizen

  • Must be registered to study at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Must have a strong academic record
  • Must NOT be receiving another bursary or NSFAS funding
  • Must have a desire to uplift and change the community
  • Must be in financial need
  • Students with disabilities and from historically disadvantaged groups are encouraged to apply

  • Proof of tertiary registration (on institution’s letterhead)
  • Proof of residential address (recent municipal account)
  • Proof of income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed)
  • Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae
  • Proof of disability (if applicable, letter from a medical doctor confirming permanent disability)
