Provided by:Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA)
Description
The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA) is offering a bursary programme for the 2025 academic year aimed at fully paid-up members pursuing nursing studies. The organisation, a trade union for nursing professionals, provides this opportunity to assist members financially in their educational pursuits. The bursary covers a small portion of tertiary education expenses, and recipients will need to secure additional funding. It is important for applicants to submit their applications along with the necessary documentation, including proof of registration and salaries, to ensure eligibility. Key eligibility criteria include being a registered nurse with a minimum membership period with DENOSA and being accepted into a recognized nursing course. Bursary recipients must maintain their membership status, reapply annually, and provide progress updates throughout their studies. The competition for bursaries is based on academic performance, emphasizing DENOSA's commitment to fostering professional development in the nursing field.
